Nox mihi dat nomen primo de tempore noctis.
Pluma mihi non est, cum sit mihi penna volantis;
Sed redeo in tenebris nec me committo diebus.
Translation:
Night gives me my name, from the first time of night.
I do not have feathers, though I do have flying wing;
But I go in darkness, and do not commit myself to days.
